The ACT Greens currently hold the balance of power in the ACT Legislative Assembly with 4 seats out of 17. In October 2008, following the ACT election, the Greens signed a Parliamentary Agreement with the ALP, which contains a parliamentary reform agenda as well as a policy program. The agreement is still current, and is available below. Three times a year the ALP meet with the Greens at a joint cabinet meeting to assess progress on the Agreement.
