The ACT Greens is a party formed in 1992. It is a grass roots organisation that pursues a consensus approach to decision making encourages the active participation of all members, and has had MLAs elected to the ACT Assembly at every election since 1995.
The ACT branch hosted the first National Conference of the Australian Greens in 1993. Members of the ACT Greens are also, automatically, members of the Australian Greens.
